SOCSDO
is a non-profit humanitarian organisation established in the Republic of Somaliland to protect, care for, and advocate for the rights of street dogs. The organisation is founded on compassion, environmental protection, and the promotion of public awareness about animal welfare and health.
MISSION
Our mission is to protect, care for, and improve the lives of street and abandoned dogs in Somaliland, particularly in Hargeisa. We strive to provide safe shelters, adequate nutrition, medical care, and emotional support for these vulnerable animals. Through community awareness, education, and advocacy for animal rights, we aim to promote responsible pet ownership, reduce abuse, and foster compassion and care for all dogs. Our organization is committed to creating sustainable programs that save the lives of dogs while ensuring that every dog has the opportunity to live a healthy, safe life
